In 2020, the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics will be hosting its 13th annual Doctoral Conference in Economics.
Every year, the RGS aims to bring together the minds and talents of economists to discuss their research. The 13th annual conference will be no exception, as PhD students in Economics are all welcome to participate. This will present a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas and network with your fellow graduates. Not to mention the opportunity to connect with the RGS’ experienced community of researchers. This includes more than 35 faculty members from the Universities of Dortmund, Duisburg-Essen, and Bochum, as well as one of Germany’s leading economic research institutes, the RWI.
This year, the RGS is especially interested in papers regarding regional disparities within Europe. However, research papers from all areas of economics are, of course, welcome. As usual, a prize of 500 EUR will be awarded to the best submitted paper.
The conference will take place on the 18th and 19th of February 2020. All applications are to be submitted before the deadline on the 10th of December 2019.
